Role: Data Architect/Senior DBA Location: Plymouth,WI This role requires progressive, relevant technical experience and a willingness to perform hands on analysis and development in addition to design, modeling tasks. Under the overall direction of and in close collaboration with the Senior Data Architect, this position is responsible for the ongoing management and deployment of SAP Business Intelligence (BI) systems model designs and related reporting tools at Sargento including but not limited to SAP Business Intelligence Suite and SAP HANA. In this role, the Data Architect is responsible for the overall data design which is catered for a BI Reporting environment. This role may also assist with the daily tasks and projects of other members of the Database Team, providing appropriate guidance to achieve the Business Intelligence objectives. May be responsible for training less skilled analysts. Responsible for the lead SAP BI Universe Design in addition to guiding other team members performing development and DBA tasks. Coordinate data architect tasks, database and database application development by performing the following duties. Involved in understanding the end-user requirements and business processes in creating and designing universes, queries and reports. Work with BI developers to ensure data model design needs are met for reporting purposes, incorporating all the business requirements. Ability to research and understand existing reports and assist in developing a comprehensive data model to support such reporting in a SAP HANA or other Business Intelligence environment. Implement row level security data models for sensitive information. Coordinate with DBA and SAP BI design team in solving various technical issues. Facilitate and assist in the analysis, design and documentation of data architecture requirements as well as participate in gathering, filtering, and \\\"cleaning\\\" data. Ability to work closely with other IT members and business users to define requirements for the overall data model based on SAP and non-SAP data structures. Provide expertise to team members; support productive team-oriented behavior Manage day-to-day operations for Database Support activities Substantial experience architecting and implementing high performance and robust complex enterprise reporting solutions In-depth experience and working knowledge of Oracle Databases as well as working knowledge of large object oriented relational database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Sybase), encompassing use of stored procedures, SQL, triggers, and data marts / summary tables Familiarity with SAP BI Suite Application administration and support, user accounts and permissions/security Effectively research new options and look for resolutions to existing DB issues using Oracle Support Portal. Qualifications: Bachelor\\\'s degree in Computer Science or related field from four-year college or university required. 7+ years relevant experience. Familiarity with SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) data models and structures a plus.
