Job description This position designs, develops, implements and maintains payroll business solutions. Works directly with project and business leaders and clients to identify analytic requirements. Expand or modify payroll related system to serve new purposes or improve work flow. Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems related to payroll, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems. Monthly, quarterly and annual updates. Develop, document and revise payroll systems design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards. Provide staff and users with assistance solving payroll systems problems, such as malfunctions and program problems. Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles and settings. Develop and update project plans for payroll technology projects including; project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding and staff resources Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule and scope, prepare project status reports and develop implementation plans that include return on investment analysis. Desired Skills and Experience Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Experience with JD Edwards Enterprise One payroll module highly preferred 5 years experience with payroll and payroll systems. CPP certification a plus
