Job description Under general direction from the Director of HR, the payroll manager oversees payroll administration and is responsible for compiling payroll data, computing wages and deductions, and monitoring all tasks necessary to accomplish the company's payroll processing objectives. The majority of the employee's time is spent planning, organizing, providing payroll metrics, and managing the payroll process. This position is also responsible for preparing monthly bonuses and assisting with the quarterly and annual bonus program/process. This position requires excellent attention to detail, strong mathematical abilities, and significant knowledge of payroll administration, processes, and regulations.
