Payroll Manager Loc: Denver, CO

Budget $: 100,000 - 200,000

  • Be a safety leader with solid safety behaviors and demonstrated leadership.
  • Review and submit hourly and salaried bi-weekly payrolls in ADP Workforce Now/Enhanced Time.
  • Resolve configuration problems with ADP Workforce Now and Enhanced Time.
  • Responsible for maintaining high quality data in the ADP Workforce Now System and Enhanced Time.
  • Responsible for processing manual checks as required.
  • Calculates new hire pay, termination pay, and any required adjustment to normal pay.
  • Responsible for processing stop payments or adjustments of payroll.
  • Responsible for processing and reconciliation of garnishment orders.
  • Responsible for reconciliation of contributions including union fees, 401K, pension, taxes, and benefits.
  • Calculates bonuses as requested.
  • Ensures that computing, withholding, and deductions are done correctly.
  • Manages audits including 401K, workers compensation, and union funds.
  • Reconciles general ledger with regard to payroll issues or concerns.
  • Responds to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns.
  • Creates overtime reporting and analysis.
  • Supports controlling with budgeting and forecasting of personal costs.
  • Implements policies and procedures related to payroll.
  • Interprets company policies and government regulations affecting payroll procedures.
  • Directs preparation of government reports.

Skill & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor??s degree preferred, with an emphasis or degree in accounting
  • Payroll certification preferred
  • Solid knowledge of wage and hour laws
  • 3 to 5 years of payroll experience preferred
  • Proficient in ADP Workforce Now and Enhanced Time and Attendance
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP software
  • Excellent verbal, written, group facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Excellent computer competence (outlook, word, PowerPoint, Excel, HRIS software)
  • Must be able to handle several priorities at one time
  • Strong customer focus mind-set
  • Solid leadership and influencing skills
