Responsibilities:
- Provide weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc sales reporting and analysis
- Evaluate and ensure accuracy of sales, cost of sales, inventory, and related variances
- Participate in forecasting, planning, and budgeting process
- Evaluate changes in actuals versus forecast and advise accordingly
- Participate in monthly closing process
- Analyze manufacturing variances and purchase price variances
- Provide support for plant costing activities. Analyze material, labor, and overhead data to be used in annual budget process
- Maintain product cost models
- Evaluate, identify, and understand root cause and drivers behind trends and variances
- Evaluate accuracy and validity of underlying data
- Use reporting tools including, but not limited to, Microstrategy, SAP BPC, SAP Business Objects, Infor F9
