Role: Manager, Financial Systems (TM1)
Location:Los Angeles, CA

We are looking for a Manager, Financial Systems (TM1),
with expertise in the following:

Manage delivery for the TM1 Planning & Reporting SolutionWork with business partners to establish business capability road mapsEstablish and facilitate prioritization process across stake-holders.
Communicate frequently and manage business expectations.
Advocate for change and evangelize change across business unitsCreate resource and project delivery plans to meet business commitments.
Coordinate activities across IT teams to delivery holistic solutionsParticipate in scoping, planning and managing assigned tasks and projects.
Develop and maintain strategic road maps to meet business and IT objectives.
Ensure completeness and timelines of deliverablesKeep business informed and ensure expectations are managed with regards to delivery and issues.
Focus on building out the right staffing model, allowing flexibility to on board and off board resources, while creating an internal team of development resourcesEnsure team is properly staffed and skilledAdminister performance reviews and assist with career development plans.
Provide business and technical guidance to ensure solutions are scalableDelegate and orchestrate Tm1 development activities to onsite/offsite developers , via daily scrum meetings.
Advocate the management of development progress and debt via JiraSocialize department guidelines and monitor adherence to guidelinesEnsure that all testing and review activity is properly scheduled and carried out.
Monitor progress to ensure developer time commitments are being metResolve escalation items and provide ongoing team supportDevelop written and verbal communicationsParticipate in leadership activities and department meetingsCreate presentations for senior leadership and executive staffDevelop and manage a budget for capital and operational needs.
Other duties and technologies as assignedThe Minimum Requirements And Skills IncludeIBM Cognos TM1 Certification preferredSolid experience with IBM Cognos TM1 10.xStrong Familiarity with Data Warehouse concepts and technologiesExperience in solutions within financial planning, budgeting and forecastingKnowledge of relational database design and development.Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, communication skillsUnderstanding and experience in TM1 cubes / Rules / TI process /Active Forms / Web forms
Experience in Oracle, SQL and related skills
Experience with TM1 installation, configuration, and administration
Experience designing new and modifying existing data models.
Must be able to read table design and work with very little documentation.
Ability to communicate effectively with the key business users before, during, and after the development of analytical tools to ensure adequate requirements gathering, development progress, user acceptance and business process integration.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills and strong attention to detailDemonstrate strong and effective communication skills both verbally and in writingDemonstrate strong and effective organizational and time management skills.
Core understanding of Finance / Accounting disciplines and associated data / reporting requirements for growth in a global companyBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or a related fieldSolid Project management skills.
