Job description Position Overview The Financial Analyst supports the Divisional Vice Presidents and Regional Directors on financial matters in the assigned regions, providing analysis and decision support. Position Purpose The purpose of this position is to provide quantitative analysis of the assigned business units for the purpose of making better business decisions. Additional responsibilities include reporting of key trends and issues on a consistent basis and various ad hoc projects. Will be required to understand business drivers and be able to report of trends effecting the business with the opportunity to impact the business. Provide general business consulting and profitability analysis to improve the financial performance as it relates to both revenue and expenses. Strong communication and presentation skills required. Strong presentation and communication skills are required, as well as solid business acumen and judgment. Individual must possess strong analytical and quantitative skills. Duties and Responsibilities o Advise Division Vice President of Operations and Regional Directors, and recommend actions based on quantitative analyses o Performs weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly comprehensive business reporting, and provides recommendations into problem areas o Evaluates Regional financials by identifying outcomes and potential risks/opportunities o Provides creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance of the region o Provides analytical support for project work across the business including being a key member of strategic project team o Performs general and ad hoc analysis to support company growth, profitability and continuous improvements o Conduct business studies on past, present, and future performance Experience and Education Requirements
