Job description:
Company is seeking to hire an outstanding Senior Financial Analyst to join their finance team in downtown San Francisco.
This position will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Finance and will be primarily responsible for conducting all the analysis related to company funds performance and for creating presentations for the Managing Directors and the Leader of the firm.
A successful candidate will play a critical role in gathering portfolio companies financial information and assessing company projected returns on its investments in private and public companies.
They will be expected to analyze past investments and identify key characteristics of winners and losers and share their insights with the Investment Team via the Senior Vice President of Finance.
Working closely with the Director of Investor Relations, the Senior Financial Analyst will be expected to support the firms fundraising activities as well as to provide data needed for presentations to the Limited Partners.

  • Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to)Create and maintain system and tools for tracking funds/portfolio companies performance metrics on a regular and ongoing basis.
  • Assure ownership of the Portfolio Companies Management (PCM) process.Conduct various analysis as required by the CFO, the Senior Vice President of Finance and/or the Director of Investor Relations.
  • Participate in fundraising activities, including the creation, maintenance and management of a data room.Be the primary creator of analytical presentations as required by the Managing Directors and the Leader of the firm (working closely with the SVP of Finance).Assist the Fund Accounting with analytics as needed.
  • Education/Experience/SkillsMinimum 3-5 years of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) experience in an organization with complex activities (multi-products).
  • Bachelor's degree with concentration in accounting/economics/finance.Excellent computer skills including expert level proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint - required
