Role:Retail Business Analyst

Location:Irvine, CA

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Research and analyze all aspects of existing business practices and procedures
  
• Develop methodology documents based on self-initiated interviews, diagrams, surveys and workflow analysis
  
• Conduct retail business reporting, research and analysis for management
  
• Create detailed plans for execution and implementation of new processes, including budgetary guidelines and key personnel
  
• Partner with cross-functional business teams related to system and business processes
  
• Enforce proper testing methodology and develop test scripts with users and vendors
  
• Oversee the life cycle of changes to business systems and prepare detailed reports for management team
  
• Provide education and training on retail systems/tools to business partners, including retail businesses
  
• Act as the IT lead on cross-functional project teams
  
• Assist with project scoping, planning and scheduling
  
• Identify and propose timely and on-budget solutions
  
• Participate in projects related to the other enterprise applications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors Degree required
  
• Masters Degree in related technical field preferred
  
• 5+ years of experience in the Information Technology field
  
• Advanced SQL database management and maintenance skills
  
• Practical application with Microsoft Office and Visio
  
• Advanced experience in user testing and project management
  
• Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
