Role: Oracle Retail Solution Architect
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Serve as a lead member on the project delivery team and across multiple projects
Provide functional and technical deep domain expertise on Oracle Retail Solutions
Guide team to build highly scalable and reliable applications.
Collaborate with functional and technical teams across all phases of a project
Collaborate with internal team members to ensure best practice, product and capabilities are leveraged to provide solutions
Actively participate in design/systems/code reviews.
Participate in PCI and SOX compliance process; and follow their standards in architecting solutions.
Participate in project planning and supporting tasks to manage expectations, maintain timeline and meet goals for project deliverables
Provide technical assistance to internal resources, and high level escalation production support for critical issues as needed
Participate in test planning, execution, and production implementation of projects
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
Demonstrated functional and technical knowledge of Oracle Retail Suite Merchandise Operations Management (MOM) application.
Must have technical knowledge of at least one of the MOM applications like ORMS, ORPM, OReSA, OReIM, ORIB, ORPOS and ORSIM.
More than 5 years experience in retail implementations and delivery and solving business problems with software and technology
Experience with payment vendors/gateways is a plus
Experience with MFP and Allocation is a plus
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of versioning services, and securing services is a plus.
Must be confident working with all levels of management, and understand the demands and responsibilities of those roles
Experience with JAVA and Oracle Database is a plus.
Experience in Agile, Lean or other business process improvement is preferred.
