Project Description: Our client is currently on PeopleSoft 9.1 for Financials and HCM and is looking to move to Workday for HR this year. Our client is extremely busy with activity and have acquired a company this last week that they are bringing into their PeopleSoft HCM system at the same time that they are also looking to do an internal divestiture by midyear. During this separation, this client will be essentially making a copy of their PeopleSoft HCM system for the second company and then converting PeopleSoft and standing up two instances of Workday for the two companies. This client has just lost their benefits developer on medical leave and just received new benefit plans that are being configured by the functional team. They now need a developer to come onsite and assist with development work around integrations to Vanguard for 401k benefit plans within both Base Benefits and Ben Admin.
Day to Day Responsibilities: From day one this developer is taking on responsibility for work on integration development in Base benfits and Ben Admin for our clients new benefits plans and will access current code and have the ability to work off of it. This person must be able to access the current system and work on heads down development to assist the functional team as they configure the new benefits plans and integrate them with Vanguard's 401k plan, ideally this consultant will have experience doing this type of work.
Due to this client looking to do a divestiture of their company, this consultant should also be prepared to split some of these 401k interfaces to align with their respective company following the split. In order to do so this consultant needs to possess the knowledge of benfits processing and be an expert with SQL.
Required Skills:
- PeopleSoft Technical Benefits (Base Benefits/Ben Admin) 7-10 years
- Expert with benefits integrations from PeopleSoft to benefits providers for 401k plans, ideally Vanguard
- Comfortable working along with functional team on new benefit plan development
- Ability to make a copy or split Benefit interfaces for the purpose of a divestiture
- Expert with SQL, PeopleCode
