Job description
- The Financial Analyst position primarily serves as the finance subject matter expert supporting and aligning with the Commercial team.
- The position will be the key go to individual for all commercial analytics, metrics and modelling.
- This position will also support the Accounting department in order to ensure a cohesive commercial strategy and financial controls.
- Prepare financial models and conduct profitability analysis sales proposals to ensure compliance with financial guidelines and applicable National Accounts Agreements
- Develop financial analysis for proposed Sales/Marketing programs and ad hoc requests
- Help establish and maintain Commercial metrics to ensure Company is achieving goals
- Help analyze competitive environment for adjacency expansion, improvements in channel, product development and life cycle among others
- Assist with annual commercial budget ? updating forecast as appropriate
- Prepare and distribute monthly reports including margin analysis, product mix, geographic mix, commissions, etc.
- Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with Sales and Marketing teams; establish effective cross-functional relationships with Accounting/Finance, and other functional support teams
