Desired Skills and Experience
- 4-5+ years experience delivering highly scalable web applications
- 2+ years of experience with JavaScript frameworks like
- AngularJS, ReactJS, JQuery, NodeJS and visualization frameworks like D3, NVD3, Rickshaw
- Project experience in one or all of the following: core Java, JEE Application Layer/Back-end (Spring; JBoss)
- SQLExperience in at least one scripting language: Perl, Python, etc.
- Preferred exposure to web development concepts and processes, including: MVC, OOP, RESTful Web Services, Agile Scrum, dependency management, unit testing, e2e testing
- Experience in NoSQL technologies like Cassandra will be a plus
- BA/BS or above in Computer Science or equivalent practical
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with an emphasis on visualizing and understanding data
- Demonstrated interest in finance and business
- Eye for user-focused design and UI/UXStrong understanding of performance optimization for web-based applications
- Experience supporting existing systems, including resolving operational issues while working with teams located across the globe
