  • DescriptionDay-to-Day responsibilities include setting up prefabs with the appropriate sprites, labels, tweens, linkages and design, when necessary, coordinating with QA to identify and fix layering issues and other UI/UX Unity bugs, and working closely with UI/UX Lead and Engineering to ensure the correct final product.
Other Responsibilities include:
  • Collaborate with UI/UX Team, PMs, and Engineering to come up with inventive and efficient solutions to enhance the User Interface and Experience.Ability to discuss problems from Design, Artistic and Technical perspectives, with a focus on finding solutions.Create quick prototypes, in Unity/nGUI and work directly with engineering to get them functional.
  • Create and implement tween animations and/or particle effects to emphasize our game UI events.Investigate and fix UI/UX related bugs in Unity.Oversee the creation of sprites and other types of 2D art assets/Advertisements if required.
  • Assist in training other team members in Unity3D & nGUIOpenly suggest more attractive, fun and dynamic ways to do things, and be proactive about making it happen.
  • Be comfortable educating your peers and learning from them as well.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience.An equivalent skill-level of at least 2 years of experience with Unity & nGUIAt least one shipped title using Unity in a UI Artist/Lead or similar roleExperience implementing and tweening UI elements in UnityStrong desire to solve technical and visual problems for teammates
  • Ability to sketch, quickly mock up, and defend design ideas
  • Ability to work autonomously within a collaborative environmentExcellent communication and collaboration skills between Art and EngineeringExcellent knowledge Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator, After Effects is a bonus)Optional Bonus
Qualifications:
  • Actionscript/C# or similar scripting language experienceExperience in a 3D package (Maya).
