Job Duties:
- Understand and assimilate business goals into elegant and intuitive interactive designs Translate workflows, information architectures, wireframes, and other artifacts into UI assets Create high-fidelity, pixel perfect visual UI design compositions Implement and/or stylize controls both from scratch and from reference material Deliver well-constructed assets to Front End Developers for conversion to HTML/CSS Participate in UI functional testing
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience Mastery of design principles, patterns and best practices encompassing page layout, typography and usability Mastery of visual design tools such as the Adobe tool suite, Sketch, Balsamiq, etc. Mastery of responsive design and its appropriate application Strong working knowledge of user experience (UX) design principles and practices Strong working knowledge of cross-browser/cross-platform development constraints Strong working knowledge of CSS Experience with software application product develop for consumer and business audiences preferred Experience delivering assets within hand-coded HTML/HTML5 templates preferred Understanding of information architecture principles and practices a plus
