Customer Service Specialist - EDI Loc : White Plains, NY

  • Job descriptionThe EDI Specialist is a new addition to our Customer Service team. This is an opportunity to join a fun and a fast growing company.
  • This dynamic newly formed role is driven directly by our recent growth in the retail sector. Come join our warm office environment in Westchester and work closely with senior managers as the Urnex point person for EDI transactions.
  • The right candidate will come from a high volume vendor, processing wholesale EDI transactions.
Responsibilities:

  • Operate as the lead point of contact for all assigned customers and provide superior customer service at all timesReceive and attend to all incoming ordering inquiries via EDI system, including Amazon standard formatting with 810, 850 and 856 transactionsLight troubleshooting of transactions as needed; coordinate with technical support on resolution and 3rd party providers to resolve errorsCoordinate logistics between warehouse and customer, per customer specificationsSupport customer service team and provide back-up coverage for non-EDI order processingServe as primary point of contact/team lead for all EDI projects, coordinating with technology vendors, customers and Urnex ITWork closely with marketing, supply chain management, operations (warehouse/shipping), finance, and sales to ensure customer needs are met quickly and efficiently.
  • Possess usage, pricing, and delivery information for all Urnex products.
  • Continued learning and education on new and pre-existing Urnex offerings.
  • Manage accurate supply of customer information, providing knowledge of customers present orders and future plans.
  • Work hands-on with warehouse staff to facilitate order fulfillment when neededDesired Skills and Experience3+ years experience working in customer service within a professional office settingMinimum 1 year of inbound (Vendor-side) EDI order processing.
  • troubleshooting experience is a plusExperience with 810, 850 and 856 EDI transaction formats is required and Amazon Vendor Central is highly desiredERP/CRM experienceStrong computer user skillset in MS Office SuiteExperience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs in a fast paced environment is essential and have the ability to exceed customers expectations dailyExperience interacting with warehouse/production personnel and able to navigate a warehouseDetail oriented mindsetExcellent interpersonal and organizational skills, strong written and verbal communications skillsProblem solving with technical and computer aptitude
