Title: Mainframe Programmer(IV) with OmniPlus
Location: Florham Park, NJ
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing for a large-scale mainframe computer system. Maintains and develops on-line and batch application programs.
- Develops and implements a disaster recovery plan.
- Works with project members to develop specifications, diagrams and flowcharts.
- Requires a bachelor\'s degree in area of specialty and 6-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Familiar with a variety of the field\'s concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others.
Experience:
- 8+ years experience in COBOL, DB2, VSAM, CICS
- 4 years experience in CICS Web Services (Nice to have)
- 5 years experience in 401k or similar financial processing (desired)
- 5 years experience in OmniPlus (SunGard / FIS) experience
