Description:
- This position is responsible for design, installation, support and availability of the z/VM operating system running on the mainframe platform, including related third party software products (CA-Manager Suite and Velocity).
- This position requires participation in software upgrades, mainframe infrastructure projects, interfacing with other mainframe disciplines, providing general day to day support of the environment and occasional weekend work.
- The most important skills are knowledge of z/VM, Dirmaint, RACF and exposure to Linux on System Z.
- Strong customer focus and communication skills are also required.
