Requirements: * Bachelor\\\'s Degree in an Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline, or relevant work experience.
* 7+ years of related work experience designing/developing, programming, and supporting software programs/applications in client server or mainframe environments.* Demonstrated technical experience a majority of the following technologies: COBOL, DB2, CICS, VSAM are required. VM, VSE, and REXX are not required, but helpful.* Experience developing and maintaining applications with moderate to complex database architecture is required.* Proven experience with SQL and tuning mainframe applications and database interactions for performance is desirable.* Experience and working knowledge of Waterfall and related processes and artifacts is required. Agile is a plus.* Knowledge of current technology trends and their application(s) is important.* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with others and set a positive example.* Proven ability to influence others by building trust and credibility within areas of expertise, and by providing effective coaching and mentoring to peers and others.* The ability to translate technical information into understandable terms from a variety of audiences - both technical and non-technical.* Strong organization skills with the ability to work on multiple projects and/or assignments simultaneously.* Strong negotiation skills with the ability to find successful resolutions for moderate to complex issues, escalating those that require management involvement, when necessary.*We are looking for applicants with career goals who want to grow and assume roles of greater responsibility within the company.
