Budget $: 100,000 - 200,000

  • Data Analysis / Supply Chain Communication / Issue Resolution - Prevention 50% Communicates and initiates actions to Buyer / Buyer-Coordinators and other departments.
  • Assists with daily issue resolution and helps resources resolving problems.
  • Provides recommendations for process improvements.
  • Provides answers or points of contacts to employees and vendor staff regarding cost reduction initiatives.
  • Provides on-going recommendations for improving merchandise flow initiatives.
  • Works directly with vendors to ensure vendor is capable of complying with packaging and labeling requirements.
  • Maintains Vendor Manual and ensure vendor compliance.
  • Performs on-going and ad hoc analysis to supplement decision making.
  • Prepares and communicates analysis identifying strengths and weaknesses within the business.
  • Develops recommendations to capitalize on opportunity and mitigate risk.
  • Supply Chain Efficiencies Cost Reduction 25% Implements supply chain efficiencies and cost reduction programs to assist the company in making better merchandise flow decisions by conducting thorough analysis on key areas which are causing DC and Store issues.
  • Builds and maintains a work environment that is positive and is supported by open feedback and two-way communication at all levels.
  • Team Leadership: 25% Responsible for maintaining a positive work environment while supporting the companys Culture.
  • Responsible for fostering a healthy and safe work environment, focusing on the well-being of Distribution Center associates.
  • Maintains and strengthens internal, external customer, stores and supplier relationships.
  • Communicates and works with Supply Chain partners in Transportation, Inventory Management, Merchants, Store Operations, and Merchandise Allocation to flow product through the Distribution Center in the most cost efficient and productive manner.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Relevant industry and business acumen with strong analytical, problem identification and resolution skills.
  • Be able to simplify and communicate the most complicated issues or problems.
  • Continuous improvement and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.
  • Strong meeting execution and facilitation skills.
  • DC / Store / Vendor Compliance Experience
