Role:Supply Chain Manager
Location:South Euclid,OH
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for strategic supplier relationships and strategies.Manage Production Planning and Purchasing teams.Successfully achieve delivery performance, inventory control and working capital objectives.
- Identify areas for operational improvement, propose corrective actions and lead approved projects to achieve results.
- Active participation of overseeing shipping and receiving activities to ensure policies and procedures are followed by the team, as well as, all shipping and receiving are done in an accurate and timely manner.
- Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work environmentCollaborate with other managers to optimize processesResolve issues regarding shipped ordersEnsure compliance to legal regulations and company policies, including shipping/receiving procedures for hazardous materials.
Team management:
- scheduling, approving time-off requests, performance reviews, hiring, disciplinary actions, and monitoring overtime.
- Directing work of staffResponsible for the efficient flow of the Supply Chain process.
- Manage all important documents, including for import and export (advanced shipping notices, pick slips, RMA's, bills of lading, etc.)Ensure the accurate and timely execution of the supply chain processes and proper operation of associated systems.
Qualifications And Skill Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years experience in Supply Chain Management, including purchasing, demand/operations planning, inventory control, shipping/receiving, data integrity and continuous improvement.
- Solid knowledge of supply chain concepts, processes and proceduresKnowledgeable in Customs operationsStrong Computer skills especially Excel, ERP systems and MS Office.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and process oriented thinking; experience in directing and evaluating subordinates, excellent organizational and communication skills and demonstrated ability to execute projects with multi-functional teams.
- Attention to detailStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsManagement experience in a Union environment a plusEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Business or Related Field
