Job Description
- The Finance Analyst plays a critical role within the companys Finance team.
- This position reports to the Director of Finance and will work closely with finance managers, senior financial analysts and various departments.
- In this role you will focus on the following areas: Monthly revenue forecasts Sales commissions and rebates estimates
- Annual forecasts Capital budgets Assists with COGS forecasts Participate in the development of presentations to inform the Senior Management and the Board of Directors of the companys financial performance
- Experience with use and implementation of financial systems strongly desired, Host Analytics experience preferred
- Strong Excel experience required (pivots, look-ups, etc.)
- Financial analysis of department budgets to support decision making
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis
- Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to drive conversations
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills combined with business and financial acumen
- Must be an excellent team player capable of earning the confidence of other groups
- Solid organizational and planning skills, bright, with a strong work ethic,Flexible, \'special-projects\' orientation coupled with the ability to efficiently and effectively handle multiple and shifting priorities while meeting deadlines
- Occasional stint as a buyer to help with purchasing overload and help learn the order to pay cycle
- Technology industry experience preferred
- Position is based in Irvine, CA but candidate must be flexible to work from our Carlsbad, CA location on occasion
- Bachelors plus 2 years of experience in corporate finance or related area
