Job Function

  • The Finance Analyst is responsible for providing financial support to the business, ensuring compliance with deadlines and accounting standards whilst pro-actively challenging the business and its financial performance.
  • He/She must be looking to deliver efficiency gains through continuous work practice improvements, adopt and share best practices whenever applicable, and ensure scrupulous compliance to policies, processes and guidelines at all times.
  • Essential Duties And Responsibilities Provide financial support to the relevant business team by:Performing necessary analysis of month end results
  • Execution of Financial controls and support for projects Participating in monthly reviews with P&L / cost owners Lead cost analysis Participate in the budgeting process including reviews with relevant stakeholders
  • Providing inputs to the 3 Year Business Plan and Product
  • Portfolio preparation Confirm and validate integrity of results recorded by:Ensuring alignment between Statutory reporting and Management reporting results Confirming IFRS and accounting policies compliance Supporting the Audit activity
  • Reviewing the financial profitability of the business cases in conjunction with business finance colleagues and ensuring Sales information is in line with business case.
  • Ensuring alignment with tax compliance activities Ensuring alignment with corporate practices and standardsJob Requirements Bachelor degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting is required.
  • MBA preferred.Demonstrated Financial Acumen must have worked in a financial generalist or finance analyst role for minimum of 4+ years Quantitative analysis experience desired.
  • Membership of a relevant Finance/Accounting accreditation body desirable Good knowledge of International accounting standards
  • Demonstrated advanced MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills and working knowledge of financial reporting software preferably Hyperion.
  • Experience with SQL and other databases required Excellent organizational and project management skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong communication skills, including oral, written and presentation Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines with emphasis on sustained accuracy and attention to detail
  • Business and performance oriented mindset Quick learning ability / ability to change Good team-working and collaboration skills Proficient in MS Office tools Knowledge of SAP Preferred
  • Project Management Excellent verbal and written communication skills Fluency in English required Preference given to Spanish/English Bi-Lingual candidates
