Essential Responsibilities:
- Responsible for monthly forecasting and reporting of supply chain financials, inventory levels, headcount, slow moving/obsolete items and operational inefficiencies.
- Manages the month end closing activities associated with the supply chain P&L, balance sheets, inventory, and internal allocations.
- Supports finance and supply chain leadership in driving analytical insight into monthly financial performance.Supports internal and external audit process, including mid-year and year end Physical Inventory processes.
- Supports the inventory management process including reconciling, adjusting and reporting variances.
- Identifies financial and inventory trends, risks and opportunities.Takes an active role as a business leader within the team and supports the overall objectives of the business.
- Supervises accountant(s) and/or financial analyst(s) as neededQualifications: Bachelors degree required with an emphasis in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain/Operations, or Business required.
- A minimum of 7 years progressive experience in finance/accounting roles within consumer product supply chain environmentsSolid accounting and finance foundation.
- Cost accounting knowledge i.e.
- Inventory, COGS, manufacturing variance analysisExcellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skillsProven analytical and project management skills.
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independentlyAbility to build strong, collaborative working relationships with broad cross section of business partnersPrevious ERP systems experienceSpreadsheet and financial modeling proficiency required
