Peoplesoft campus solutions Location - Dallas, TX Duration - 6 months Functional Lead for implementation of Financial Aid module in PeopleSoft Campus Solutions 9.0 Provide expertise and operational knowledge to help with on-going support of current Aid Year, as well as planning, testing and supporting up-coming Aid Year. Assist in the identification and evaluation of system configuration and business process choices to help make best practice decisions. Assist with identifying any new customizations, interface, and reports. Provide expertise in implementation of external data loads. Assist in the definition of an accurate project plan and completion of tasks to meet the plan. Define and create test scenarios/scripts. Coordinate and participate in testing efforts and verification / validation of testing results. Identify, document, and resolve issues as needed. Assist with the definition of training materials. Assist with internal and external project communications as necessary. Performs other duties as assigned. Special Responsibilities Assist business office, Financial Aid, in Financial Aid Packaging Perform setup, review, validation, and correcting configuration for upcoming year Financial Aid Packaging Perform aid year rollover. Develop, modify, and test packaging equations. Test ORACLE Bundle releases. Support business office, Financial Aid. Document business processes for end users. Provide knowledge transfer to UT Southwestern Functional Leads and Financial Aid team. Provide training to business office users. Create weekly status reports and time reports to assist management. Develop ad hoc queries for business office users. Send mass communications to groups of students as needed. Ensure that Award notification communications go out. Troubleshoot problems that arise. Ensure that batch processes and jobs that are scheduled are running correctly. Eliminate any unnecessary batch processes and jobs. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Bachelorâ??s degree in related field of expertise or equivalency in clinical exp within relative system, and seven (7) years of systems analysis and/or project experience with exposure to systems or project development and testing, installation, and training. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES Work requires good written and verbal communication skills. Work requires good organizational skills. Work requires ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Work requires familiarity with use of personal computers. Work requires telephone and personal contact with all levels of faculty and staff within UT Southwestern to assist in information system and project coordination.
