Responsibilities
Responsible for monitoring and maintaining ETL processes that transfers data to and from internal and external locations
Interact with account specialist to process ad-hoc data requests
Troubleshoot data issues, recommending, testing and implementing solutions
Participate in daily stand-up meetings, planning meetings and review sessions
Participate in design and code reviews
Ensure data security approaches satisfy internal compliance policies and are HIPAA compliant
Knowledge and Experience
Proficiency with SQL, Oracle 11g, and ETL tools and techniques
Demonstrated working knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and related data integration tools such as Secure FTP servers
A flexible team player capable of juggling multiple priorities and willing to do what it takes to meet critical deadlines
An effective communicator who is able to work with engineers, managers, QA testers, internal customers and external partners
Understanding of data warehouse approaches, industry standards and industry best practices
2-4 years working with a data warehouse responsible for ETL processing
Experience with Pentaho Data Integration and/or Informatica is a plus
