Job Title: Sr. Cloud engineer AWS Location : Westborough, MA Duration: 12 Months Must have 10+ yearsâ?? experience, less experienced profiles will not be considered. Cloud Engineer, Infrastructure Solutions Role and Responsibilities Design, build, and deploy highly available systems to host applications both on perm and in Cloud (AWS) with specific skills. You must be very experienced using Cloudformation in the following areas: o ECS, ECR and Docker: Deep experience with managing containers at scale in the Elastic Container Service o Auto-scaling: Deep experience with Application Load Balancer, auto scaling groups and launch configurations o AWS Monitoring: Experience with CloudWatch, CloudTrail, S3 access logs, ALB logs and AWS Config to manage holistic portfolio of applications in AWS across multiple accounts. o Lambda: Experience with creating functions, understanding triggers, proper use cases. o IAM: Experience with creating and managing IAM roles and policies. o S3: Experience with creating buckets, policies, lifecycle management, and logging. Experience with data analytic focused services in AWS including â?? S3, Redshift and AWS EMR AWS CLI experience Programming background highly desired with the specific capability to create automation functions using Python Deep experience with Git source control management practices to manage infrastructure code Prefer experience working with CI/CD tools and processes leveraging the Atlassian suite of tools (JIRA, Bitbucket and Bamboo) Develop and deploy software engineering and automation solutions for an enterprise infrastructure using a variety of tools (e.g., Puppet, Cloud Formation, Bitbucket, Bamboo,) Previous experience in Cloud transformation Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelors of Science or technology or equivalent 5+ years of progressive working experience with Linux systems administration. 2+ years of experience with automation and tools such as Cloudforms, Puppet and programming experience with Python/Git/bash/PowerShell etc. 6+ months of experience with Amazon Web Services and dev-ops workflows. Certification is a plus. Candidate must be reasonably familiar with VMWare & virtualization, networking, storage, backup and common services such as AD, DNS, Time etc. Knowledge about containers and Red Hat CloudForms is a plus.
