Role:JDE WORLD DEVELOPER/ANALYST Location:Southfield, MI PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Write new programs in RPG/400/ILE per provided specifications and requirements; test and debug code prior to production deployment. Modify existing RPG or CL programs for requested changes. Ability to analyze business requirements and propose programmatic and/or process solutions. Research and resolve issues and identified application or data problems. Develop reports and forms, Proven working experience as a programmer/analyst for JDE World ERP application. Experience and skills in RPG 400, RPG ILE, CL programming languages. XML a plus. Knowledge of DB2 relational database management system and JDE World tables. Working knowledge of financial modules: A/R, A/P, and General Accounting. Experience and understanding of JDE World Technical Foundation: DREAM writer, World Writer, system codes, data dictionary, SVR, BI Publisher. Ability to research and resolve data issues using SQL, DBU or DFU. Solid understanding of basic business functions, especially accounting principles Ability to work with end users in a professional, helpful manner.
