Responsibilities
- Provide senior level knowledge and experience consulting with internal and external customers to address new functional business needs with JDEdwards Liaison with business users, management, and technical teams as part of coordinating the development of solutions that satisfy business requirements
- Faciliate communication, conflcit resolution and interaction among the various functional entities within the project teams
- Review objectives, reporting progress, status to management/spondor on a regular basis.
- Escalate issues to management as necessary
- Assist in creating recovery plans of off-shedule and unanticipated occurrences Very familiar with JDE UDC tables, AAIs and Processing options in the setup and configuration of JDEdwards processes in support of businesses workflows
- Work independently and as part of team working to execute full project life cycle tasks on time and within budget
- Develop functional and technical specifications for enhancements, new programs, interfaces and reports
- Prepare and adhere to the IT standards in developing and supporting of the application documentation such as User Manual, Standard Operating Procedure, wtc. related to the sustaining a viable JDEdwards environment
- Develop and maintain Scoping document, Project charters, Project plans and Task list and Issue logs Creating, executing, and documenting Unit and UAT test scripts
- Document, prioritize and facilitate the resolutions of any defects Analyze, resolve and document Tier 1 and Tier 2 application issues in the JDE modules supporting the company Assess variances from the project plan and develop and implement changes as necessary to ensure project responsibilities are completed on time and within cost and quality of objectives
- Provide expertise and the training of users to increase their knowledge and use of JDE and assist in the remediation of issues in the JDE functionality to minimize business disruption.
- Develop and maintain productive and collaborative relationships with all sectors of the business, business partners, and support teams Leads business users and JDE specialists as a team in accomplishing design objectives
- Other duties and tasks may be assigned
- 7+ years of JDE technical experience with a minimum of 5 years configuring and supporting in a JDE E1 or World environment in JDEdwards modules e.g. G/L, A/R, A/P, Procurement, Address Book, Sales Order, Inventory Management (Item Master, Branch Plant, Cycle Counts, Standard Cost) and Reporting
- Experience working and supporting a global business in a multi-currency environment
- Very familiar with JDE table structures, AAIs, and Report WriterJDE Financial, Sales Order and Distribution experience
- Experience as part of a team performing a full implementation of JDE
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project
- Experience with Business Intelligence Platforms (Business Objects Crystal Reports, ETL tools) is a plus Manufacturing/Cost Accounting knowledge a plus
