Job description Description POSITION SUMMARY:
- The JDE Software Engineer I will be responsible for supporting existing JDE Enterprise one systems as well as developing Custom Applications and interfaces to the Enterprise One system to support business requirements.
- This position requires advanced level knowledge of both technical and functional skills, and requires a high level of customer service to meet user needs in a courteous and timely manner. Duties And Responsibilities Create new functionalities,
- UBEs, applications as well as support existing enhancements within the JDE platform using JDE OMW development tool set Develop and maintain interfaces between EnterpriseOne and other applications Participate in project planning activities,
- including defining detailed project tasks Work with functional users and user groups to gather, refine, and document system requirements to enhance JDE EnterpriseOne functionality based on approved User Requirements Troubleshoot issues using various debug methods including debugging C++ business functions Knowledge and experience with SQL and JDE database structures to analyze data in the database Recommend changes in development, maintenance, and system standards Create/review functional design documents and technical design documents Participate in end user support Develop data extraction tools to parse and collect relevant information from a variety of sources Participate in requirements definition to help design data gathering and analysis systems Present work,
- verbally and in writing, to diverse audiences including technical colleagues and management Perform many roles on a team including individual contributor, leader, analyst, or project manager Specific additional duties may vary depending on requirements Requirements
- Bachelor\'s degree in science, math, computer science or engineering field Minimum of 8 years\' experience at a senior level developer with a fully integrated JDE EnterpriseOne 8.12 system or higher Experience using the EnterpriseOne programming toolset including Forms Design (all or most Form types),
- Report Design (All Report types), BI Publisher, Table Conversion, JDE C Business Functions/ NER and Z-File Processi
