Serve as a conduit between business, technology and support teams and external partners collaborating on all ERP system (primarily JDE) related requirements Work alongside team members and technology partners to make changes to system configurations, develop process/ system documentation, testing and training materials Lead the monitoring, upgrade and troubleshooting efforts for the JDE environment and applications Ability to understand both functional and technical requirements to provide business process solutions by leveraging information systems Deliver detailed functional specification documents (Reports, Applications, Integrations) for business and IT signoff in preparation for development Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical user groups Responsible for support ticket resolution. Respond to functional and technical issues, including troubleshooting, issue management and initiate actions with technical/ support teams as needed. Ability to identify system issues, determine root causes, and provide solutions for temporary workarounds and permanent fixes Assist with assessing functionality of existing and proposed modules/ bolt-on applications Perform and review daily/ periodic system validation checks and initiating prompt corrective measures Desired Skills and Experience Accounting/ Business/ Finance or Computer Info Systems 4 years degree required In depth knowledge of JDE Financials module required Relevant Systems experience is preferred (at least 2 years of each) Have a thorough understanding of the modules above and the data flow thorough the respective JDE tables Experience with designing and implementing integrations between JDE and multiple Third Party applications (B2B, B2C integration and EDI) Proven track record of delivering efficient and scalable system solutions to drive business process improvements Proficient in Excel and deep experience with top tier ERP and related reporting applications is required (JDE experience is required, JDE 9.1 preferred) Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to work in a cross functional environment, collaborating effectively with core business users, technology and support teams, and third party partners Results orientated self-starter Ability to quickly identify problems and implement proposed solutions Willingness to travel and attend periodic system training
