- PURPOSEThe role of the JDE Functional Analyst is to assist in gathering and understanding requirements identified by the business community, and design how those requirements may be satisfied through proper set-up and configuration of the JDE system environment.
- In addition to supporting future system development initiatives, the JDE Functional Analyst will also provide production support services to users of our JDE application.
- Activities include gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and system requirements. They will also be required to generate and compile information and reports based on their findings, complete with probable causes and recommend possible solutions to system or process issues.
- This position will require the individual to apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments.
- Job experience & skills requirements BA/BS in business, computer science, or IT- related field; or equivalent work experience. Extensive experience supporting J.D. Edwards is required including Fixed Assets and Work Order.
- Extensive experience using SQL is required. Experience with software development lifecycle methodologies and adhering to audit and project management policies and procedures Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Highly self motivated and directed. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail and strong desire for quality Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools - MS Office suite.
