• Position SummaryThis unique opportunity in the development group will teach the individual not only basic business process, but also learn the flow of a traditional ERP (Enterprise resource planning) system.
• The ideal candidate will be able to operate and monitor ERP software including iSeries (AS400) Database server.
• Perform routine tasks to ensure the ERP software is performing properly including linked third party software; data flow monitoring and running required periodic programs.
• Query and format data on an ad-hoc basis will be required.
• Have a strong desire to learn JDE programming and module customization.
• Work within the Software Development Team to support the business user community and support corporate projects, as needed.

Responsibilities :

Data analysis and creation of ad-hoc queries/reportsStart programming in a business environment related to a large ERP application.

This includes modification to any of the following modules; sales, inventory, service, rentals, A/P, A/R, CRM, shippingWork with Business Systems Analysts and business users to provide detailed system informationPerforms/coordinates system maintenance on JD Edwards related activities, including regularly scheduled jobsMonitor ERP system health, administer maintenance and perform corrective measures on a daily basisLearn, understand and support internal JD Edwards EnterpriseOne systemProactively identify issues and recommend solutions
