Role: JDE Programmer Analyst
Location: East Greenville, PA
Major Duties And Responsibilities
- Design, write, test, debug, support and document the necessary code to implement approved computer programming requests; verify the accuracy and completeness of codingDocument system design, write specifications and define procedures for the new or enhanced systemProvide input for system changes or enhancements, giving consideration for feasibility, maintainability, internal customer needs and overall cost/benefit and quality requirementsIdentify application problems and suggest practical resolutionShow understanding and following of all the SOX and IT processes and procedures and perform those tasks in a timely mannerInterview users during system analysis and designPerform in a professional mannerRequired SkillsUse of moderate to complex debugging techniquesParticipation in quality assurance, design and code walk-throughAbility to perform some independent project work and recommend system changes while estimating project durations and completing tasks within those parametersComprehension of the relationships between business activities and the application system with the ability to determine the impact of the system changes to the business; able to assist in defining internal customer acceptance criteria for testingOrganize and/or conduct meetings or demosProblem solving, analytical, logic, interpersonal communication and change management skills.Ability to to apply systems technology to meet business needs and objectives
- 5+ years experience programming in a JDE Environment4 year college degree or equivalent work experience
- Software Life Cycle developmentUse of moderate to complex debugging techniquesParticipation in quality assurance, design and code walk-throughAbility to perform some independent project work and recommend system changes while estimating project durations and completing tasks within those parameters
