Responsibilities
- Responsible for project execution and successful completion of assigned Business Plan Initiatives and Change Control
- Projects following System Development/Project Life Cycle and Change Management policies/procedures
- Perform key role in the definition/maintenance/adherence to IT standards in System Development/Project life Cycle Methodology, Change Management Procedures, Regulatory and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance as related to Basis Admin.
- Communicate the status of all related project tasks to the BJs impacted organizations on a regularly scheduled basis.
- This includes IT Business Plan projects status reports to Management.
- Serves as a solution provider to users including evaluation/analysis of system changes and new systems.
- Requires 5 - 8 years of IT experience including more than one of the following:
- Implementing SAP in the Basis Admin role
- Developing documentation and procedures to support the environmentWorking in a collaborative environment
- Experience in Kernel Updates, supporting package applications, plug-in updates, general troubleshooting, etc.
- Must have a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
- Experience with full lifecycle SAP ECC 6.x, SAP Portal, SAP PI, SAP BOBJ, SAP GRC, SAP BW on HANA, SAP SOLMAN or higher implementation in the Basis role.
- Experience in implementing Technical & Business Process Monitoring in Solman is a plus
- Maintain documentation on system configurations, maintenance processes and schedules
- Develop and oversee the execution of backup/restore and business continuity/disaster recovery procedures for SAP technologies.
- Participate in on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 operations of these critical systems.
- Support IT audit activities, analyze results and provide remediation which results in improved compliance to standards and controls for all internal and external regulatory requirements.
- Experience in system monitoring, software installation, ABAP dumps, database locks and system tuning
- Experience coordinating with other teams to ensure other system activities do not negatively impact the environment
- Perform SAP upgrades and implementations as required by the approved projects
- Understand SAP's ASAP methodology
