Job description Responsibilities:

  • Support global consolidated financial reporting responsibilities and initiatives including Consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement reporting including financial disclosures.
  • Review for completeness and accuracy.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues in plant locations to continuously improve the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of financial statements.
  • Develop corporate accounting policies and procedures.
  • Research authoritative accounting guidance in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPI's) for monthly financial closing processes monitor and report performance against established KPI's.
  • Create tools to facilitate monthly financial statement analytical review procedures Integrate financial reporting for newly acquired entities.
  • Ensure consistency of financial statement methodologies and classification across entities.
  • Identify opportunities to further leverage financial systems drive efficiency and effectiveness of internal and external financial reporting.
  • Act as a business partner to colleagues in product line operations, plant manufacturing, and central functions. Proactively provide information and solutions.
  • Serve as a key resource to the organization for corporate accounting guidance and support

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with emphasis in accounting required.
  • CPA and/or MBA with minimum 4 years public accounting experience preferred. Self-motivated.
  • Initiates activities with high degree of drive, passion, and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Advanced analytical and technical accounting skills.
  • Experience with Hyperion system a plus.
