Job description Responsibilities:
- Support global consolidated financial reporting responsibilities and initiatives including Consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement reporting including financial disclosures.
- Review for completeness and accuracy.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues in plant locations to continuously improve the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of financial statements.
- Develop corporate accounting policies and procedures.
- Research authoritative accounting guidance in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPI's) for monthly financial closing processes monitor and report performance against established KPI's.
- Create tools to facilitate monthly financial statement analytical review procedures Integrate financial reporting for newly acquired entities.
- Ensure consistency of financial statement methodologies and classification across entities.
- Identify opportunities to further leverage financial systems drive efficiency and effectiveness of internal and external financial reporting.
- Act as a business partner to colleagues in product line operations, plant manufacturing, and central functions. Proactively provide information and solutions.
- Serve as a key resource to the organization for corporate accounting guidance and support
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with emphasis in accounting required.
- CPA and/or MBA with minimum 4 years public accounting experience preferred. Self-motivated.
- Initiates activities with high degree of drive, passion, and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Advanced analytical and technical accounting skills.
- Experience with Hyperion system a plus.
