Job Responsibilities:- Provide leadership for and manage the daily activity of the Business Reporting team which includes three Data Analysts.
- Work with the Business Reporting team to build T-SQL, SSRS and/or SSIS solutions in order to automate existing MS Access and MS Excel reports.
- Analyzes existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
- Assists with the development of new models, analytic processes and construction of databases.
- Streamlines the processes regarding data flow and data architecture to improve accuracy, viability and value.
- Responsible for writing and troubleshooting T-SQL code for generating reports.
- Designs, creates, and enhances stored procedures, triggers and database schemas.Implements, maintains and supports a variety of reports and data archiving processes utilizing various reporting tools.
- Reviews and interprets ongoing business reporting requirements; researches required data and builds appropriate reporting deliverables.
- Responsible for the monitoring of the daily support bucket and completion of those tasks.
- Mentor the Data Analyst team and help to grow and evolve their development skillsAdditional duties may be assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:- Minimum four-year degree in business administration, finance, computer science, statistics, or a related field.
- 2-3 years as a Team Lead, Data Analyst Manager overseeing a team of Data Analysts or developers in a corporate setting.
- Knowledge and ability to write and trouble shoot advanced T-SQL code.
- Advanced experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Ability to design tables and/or databases to suit reporting needs.
- Ability to interpret report requests and requirements in order build appropriate automated solution.
- Experience with ETL, SSIS, SSAS preferred.
- Experience with data mining and customer relationship management tools a plus.
- Experience with Jira a plus.
- Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word, & Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and notation skills.
- Must be a self-starter and strategic thinker.
