- Strong background in UX, IA, Creative Design and Innovation
- Analyze client specifications and translate project requirements to task specifications for junior programmers
- Responding promptly and professionally to bug reports
- Responsible for utilizing tools and equipment involved in performance of essential functions of programming including measuring instruments
- Displays a positive attitude
- Perform code reviews and audits In partnership with the strategist and creative director, co-leads the strategy phase of client projects including discovery, evaluating and recommending technical solution alternatives for CMS and web technologies
- Senior developers must be highly analytical and knowledgeable about the latest software products that are available to users
- Expected to conduct system analysis and development, with limited support from professional staff, to keep our clients systems current with changing technologies.
- Devising a cohesive strategy/approach for the project, and writing a top-quality strategy report
- Making presentations to customer or client audiences or professional peers and capable of writing proposals or papers
- Supports and develops web application developers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities
- Responsible for analysis of current programs including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of problem programs, and designing solutions to problematic programming
- Provide recommendations to management concerning issues of programmer productivity and software development management
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in web design or development services, ideally as a consultant or in a digital consulting company
- BA, BS, MS or equivalent experience
- Web User Interface Design, Web Programming Skills, Software Requirements, Software Architecture, Software Development Fundamentals, Object-Oriented Design (OOD), Multimedia Content Development, Software Debugging, Technical Leadership, Version Control Systems, Code Reviews
- Strong Front-End development skills including hand-coded HTML, JavaScript, CSS
- Experience with various JavaScript frameworks including JQuery, MooTools, Easel.js and others
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Web Development Applications
