Role:Vice President eCommerce Location:Las Vegas, NV Required: Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics or Statistics. Working knowledge of A/B and multivariate testing and design of experiments for websites improvement initiatives. Advanced understanding of online user experience, online marketing principles and strategy. Experience developing departmental strategic plans, operating budgets, and capital expense plans. Intermediate working knowledge of eCommerce platforms, back-end processes, and IT technology and systems. Must have a strong understanding of conversion flows and ability the ability to drive change to eliminate content or flow barriers to conversion. Previous experience managing medium to large size departments with several levels of indirect reports. Proven leadership experience in the digital space in one or more of the following capacities (user experience design, front end development, web analytics, or internet marketing). Strong knowledge of client merchandising strategies, including room bookings, entertainment ticking, and dining reservations. Excellent customer service skills. Able to lead and mentor a team. Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts. Professional appearance and demeanor. Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both oral and written forms. Preferred: At least 8 years of professional experience. Master Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics or Statistics. Previous digital experience for a hospitality or travel company. Consulting and/or agency experience. Robust knowledge of new and emerging trends within online booking technology is strongly preferred. Experience implementation testing strategies across digital platforms (web, mobile). Experience working with relational databases (SQL Server, Teradata) and statistics / BI tools such as SAS, Tibco Spotfire, Tableau. Previous experience in a similar resort setting.
