- Job Purpose VP of Technology is directly responsible for the development and implementation of long-range strategic technology plans for the credit union with an emphasis on proven technologies that integrate with existing automation and budgets. Responsible for developing multi-year implementation strategies to achieve credit union goals.
- Responsible for core system operations, network operations and various support systems including but not limited to telephony. Plans, organizes, and directs the operations of all aspects of Technology including resources and staff members for the Credit Union.
- Develops and implements departmental policies and procedures and modifies as needed. Oversees budget for the Technology department and ensures expenses are utilized efficiently, effectively, and in accordance with Credit Union guidelines.
- Responsible for training, developing and appraising Technology team members and promotes the shared values and mission. Ensures that the Technology department is in compliance with all legal and regulatory specifications.
- Desired Skills and ExperienceQualifications Must possess Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent experience, plus 10 years of progressively responsible experience in technology which must include at least 5 years supervisory experience.
- Experience with personal computers, tablets, smart phones, computer software/hardware, and communication networks are essential.
