Senior Tableau Analyst

Position Description: Client is looking for a senior analyst with experience in marketing and strong Tableau development skills to join its growing team of�??�?�  analytics professionals. This is a job to understand client needs, help us craft new and innovative ways for presenting our datasets in the�??�?�  analytics space, and provide guidance to a team of junior Tableau analysts.

What You�??�?�¢??ll Do:

The ideal candidate will

• Understand the underlying analytics data model
• Develop dashboards that communicate the results of the analysis in a visually compelling fashion using Tableau visualizations and filters.
• Be able to design dashboards from scratch based on client requests
• Manage a team in a player/coach model

What You�??�?�¢??ll Need:

• Expert Understanding of Tableau and all its capabilities including use of parameters and custom geo features
• Strong knowledge of SQL
• Experience developing visualization for large data sets (over 200 GB)
• Client communication skills
• Experience with data cleansing and data munging
• Experience working with Tableau server in a virtual environment
• Experience with Amazon Web Services and /Redshift

Nice to Have:

• Understanding of Geo spatial and social data
• SQL Server ETL experience
• Experience with R and Tableau
• Familiarity with distributed computing environment like AWS/ Hadoop
• Team Management Experience
• Knowledge of software engineering
• Retail, Restaurant or Hospitality experience
• Experience in the B2C marketing sector
