Job Description

  • The Digital Marketing Specialist plays a critical support role within the Marketing department.
  • The role requires the ability to handle a number of projects at any one time as well as being able to respond quickly to onsite staff and corporate team requests.
  • The specialist will work within the Digital team developing, implementing, and reporting on marketing campaigns for our primary business lines.

Key responsibilities:

  • Running day-to-day execution and management of online marketing channels, including: Display, Search, Email, Social, and SEO
  • Assisting in execution of both paid and organic social media campaigns
  • Assisting Marketing Managers in reviewing campaign performance of digital channels, and creating presentations/reports upon request
  • Managing ongoing optimization efforts for paid media campaigns across digital channels
  • Assisting in managing property placements on apartment Internet Listing Services (e.g. Zillow, Apartments.com, etc.)
  • Assisting in vetting and selecting digital vendors and business partners
  • Coordinating with IT to implement tracking and analytics where needed
  • Ensuring that all account activity and results are reported back to the Digital Marketing Manager, Social Media Manager, and VP of Marketing
  • Staying up to date regarding digital tactics and online opportunities

What were looking for:

  • The candidate should have hands-on experience managing online advertising campaigns across media channels like - Display, SEM (PPC), SEO, and preferably mobile and social.

Basic qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 2 years of experience managing digital marketing campaigns
  • Experience managing paid media campaigns
  • Basic knowledge of advertising pixels, custom audiences, and remarketing
  • Passion for digital marketing

Preferred qualifications

  • Agency experience strongly preferred
  • Hands-on experience managing search marketing campaigns
  • Experience working within advertising optimization platforms like Kenshoo or Marin
  • Experience working within CRM and marketing automation platforms
  • History managing multiple projects with many stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience using various CMS platforms
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • History creating and analyzing channel performance reports using tools like Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Adobe Omniture, and others
  • Experience managing 3rd party agencies and/or digital vendors
  • Strong multitasking skills
  • Prior project management experience is a plus
  • The Digital Marketing Specialist should be passionate about technology and digital media, actively seeking to drive innovation and growth to and its clients.
