This position focuses largely on the support and continued enhancement of core HR systems (employee/organizational records, Payroll, and Benefits) with a heavy emphasis on proactive data quality management, building and maintenance of reports and integrations, and enhancing the technical/functional administration of these systems.  The incumbent will be the department expert on workflow and business processes, security, and determining/communicating/enforcing best practices in entering and maintaining systems data.  Building and maintaining integrations and ensuring the integrity/quality of data transmitted will be an important part of the role.

 


Maintain high levels of data integrity, security, and Workday system availability.  Effectively and routinely audit data and integration quality.  Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot the deep details of an issue and fixing it from end to end.  These fixes may include short term workarounds but will always focus on long term and comprehensive solutions to problems.


Provide technical and functional HRIS expertise regarding the design and improvement of HR systems and processes, supporting HR management in their efforts to administer tactical and strategic activities. The incumbent must be capable of personally delivering the improvements he/she suggests.


Manage tasks and projects to achieve People/HR department goals and objectives that require systems and technology related support.  Partner with IT, People/HR, and Financial teams to ensure highest quality of end to end process – demonstrating the ability to handle objections from colleagues and facilitating their cooperation/adoption of People/HR and Company initiatives.


At a very tactical level, design, build, and maintain processes, reports, data integration points including transmission of electronic files to support benefits administration, payroll processing, & retirement plan data.   Interact effectively with internal IT and external vendors to ensure People/ HR technology efforts are successful.


Will develop deep Workday functionality expertise and must be capable of assisting the Director, HRIS in constant review of new product releases, communicating the impact (positive and negative) to the affected teams, and also supporting/driving the testing efforts of the new functionality.

HRBP Daily System, compliance, process & procedure support, escalation of urgent issues, and mutual collaboration to achieve individual and departmental goals


Corporate BIO Daily


Information Systems (Dev, Ops, Security) Daily Design, develop, test, & deploy information system enhancements.  Manage HRIS systems & projects.


WFS finance, accounting, internal audit, tax, legal, shared services, treasury Weekly Resolving tax issues, internal reporting, auditing of process & procedures, and managing payment activities
This position is responsible for supporting and sometimes steering the HR organization towards technology & process improvement.  As the WFS employee headcount grows, the recommendations / decisions made by this position will have a scalable impact on administrative success (positive or negative) of the HR organization.  Failure to properly manage projects, processes, and monitor integration activities can have a catastrophic effect on all downstream systems & services (CRM, SRM, AD, Outlook, SharePoint, payroll, benefits, taxes, labor compliance, etc).  The impact of management decisions originating from this position can impact the company globally.


Desired Skills:



Experience with Workday and Oracle HRMS application design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance. ADP Payroll & Benefits / SAP / PeopleSoft or major ERP system. Working knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger journals, & external reporting.  Working knowledge of US employment compliance, tax, payroll, & employee benefits.


A minimum of 4 years experience in Human Resources in at least four areas: compensation, benefits, payroll administration, employment taxes, employment compliance, automation, process analysis & improvement, and managing a professional HR staff.


BA in Business Administration or Human Resources


BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Database Application Management
