Role: Sr. Programmer Analyst - BI Informatica
Location: Minneapolis ,MN

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops programs, applications, and code to meet organizational or project objectives; involves less complex programming requirements and specific applications which typically involve a single functional area.
Troubleshoots and tests programs to ensure operational quality and integrity.
Creates functional and technical mapping specifications and documentation.
Participates and influences data modeling designs.
Migrates code from Development, to Test, to Production environments.
Serves as a team member for projects, meets with project management to understand roles, and business requirements.
Utilizes a matrix of other professionals to understand and isolate problems, resolve questions and concerns, and provide customer service.
QUALIFICATIONS :

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelor’s Degree is required. A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology is preferred.
5+ years of experience as a programmer or in general information technology.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years experience in Informatica Power Center is required; preferably version 9.1
Must be able to understand and troubleshoot existing Informatica Mappings and workflows including regression testing and resolve data mapping issues.
Exposure to Informatica Cloud and/or Scheduler is favorable
Proficiency in SQL & PL/SQL is required (with Oracle a plus)
Ability to translate technical requirements through design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations
Experience with Data Modeling
Work with Business Intelligence tools a plus – particularly MicroStrategy
Ability to work on multiple projects and prioritizing tasks based on direction of manager
Ability to respond to technical questions and communicate technical information
PC skills; Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other applicable applications
