This position represents the IT department for the SAP Supply Chain Management systems (MM/PP) and is an expert in the application. The position is responsible for working with operational process owners to design, and emerging information tools for purposes of identifying improvement opportunities

Application Enablement:
• Lead development of technical specifications and requirements for projects or tasks
• Able to validate that technical solutions meet functional requirements
• Collaborate with IT management to ensure technical perspective is incorporated into business planning and daily operations
• Demonstrate knowledge through understanding of functional processes and technical system implications

Issue Resolution:
• Expert in ability to configure supported systems to meet defined functional requirements
• Lead detailed system level application support and issue resolution
• Accountable for quality and satisfaction within IT service levels
• Facilitate the leveraging of shared IT services and best practices
• Develop and maintain relationships with functional users
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor of Science in Information Systems/MIS, computer science, business or related field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience supporting SAP ECC 6.0 Supply Chain modules. Strong implementation and support experience in Materials Management, Prodution Planning, ALE/IDOCs, Quality Management, LE Transportation, integration with SD and FICO .
• Experience with SAP Apparel & Footwear Solution (AFS) and/or SAP IS-Retail preferred
• Experience with SAP’s Supply Chain Management (SCM) or other advanced demand planning solution preferred
• Exposure to supporting Supply Chain and Manufacturing operations required

• Strong background in SAP configuration, project management, application development and database technologies and concepts
• Ability to articulate technical concepts in a relatable way to business users
• Excellent PC skills utilizing Microsoft Office software

• Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent organization and follow through skills
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain good rapport with internal and external customers and handle situations with confidence, tact and resourcefulness
• Flexible, adaptable with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast paced office environment
