Role:Sr. Embedded Systems Test Engineer

Essential Functions Verify engineering design thru the creation & implementation of test specifications and plans for new and existing features implemented in embedded systemsCreate, prioritize, and organize test cases into logical suites for both automated and manual execution.
Create and execute test cases for embedded systems, hardware, firmware, embedded Android and iOS/Android Apps and report resultsConduct qualification testing of new hardware that utilizes Bluetooth and other wireless technologies.
Define test framework requirements and develop modules to automate feature test casesCreate automated test tools to reduce manual test execution timeWork with design engineers to increase manual and automated test coverageResearch evolving leading industry test and automation trendsUtilize test and development best practices, patterns, and processes within the engineering teamMentor junior engineers on testing best practices, patterns and processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent5+ years of experience in test or automation.
• Demonstrated experience in creating test cases for embedded system based productsAbility to perform hands-on product testing and failure analysisKnowledgeable in current digital technologies and trendsAbility to concisely communicate and present comprehensive findings at multiple levelsStrong ability to collaborate effectively with project team members.
