In this role we’re looking for someone that is comfortable working with / supporting multiple databases & data driven applications and solutions.Candidate must have a solid understanding of DataWarehouse design and development; experience with ETL standard Tools; experience gathering reporting requirements, mapping OLTP to OLAP databases, designing.Build and maintain metadata repository for business users. Associate is responsible for technical support - problem research and issue resolution for various applications.
 
Responsibilities

• Responsible for oversight and development of data warehouse architecture, design, programming and implementation for various project platforms (Financial and non-Financial).


• Documents technical specifications and establishes data standards and policies, systems architecture design, and migration system architectures to ensure access to and integrity of data assets.


• Interacts with clients while designing internal and external data interfaces to ensure that database development needs are according to client specifications; coordinates with clients, external data providers, and business team to ensure that business model is accurately represented and understood by all relevant parties.


• Ensure projects stay on task by acting as a liaison with project management and developers.


• Stays current with latest technologies and best practices in the industry.


• Performance and tuning of ETL processes and Automation and productionalization of all jobs and data flows with an eye toward error recovery and supportability.


• Provide primary or secondary 24hr a day 7 day a week emergency on call support as requested.
   

Qualifications 

• 7-10 years of work experience in IT Applications development with at least 7 years experience specific to ETL design, data warehouse architecture, development and execution of ETL processes, requirements and standards.
  Knowledge of Oracle BI Apps i.e. Procurement and Spend, Financial Analytics a huge plus.


• Knowledge of either Peoplesoft or E-Business Suite a plus.


• Knowledge of any industry standard ETL development tools (Informatica9X, PLSQL/SQL Server, etc ODI(11G) - Oracle Data Integrator) a huge plus.

• Advanced database knowledge including SQL Server and Oracle.
  Relational database modeling skills.
