Business Intelligence Analyst Location: Syracuse, NY Duration: 6+ months Job Description: â?¢ In order to be successful in this role, you will need strong analytical and report building skills paired with excellent communication and customer service. â?¢ Work well with others including colleagues and customers is vital, as well as working independently. â?¢ Since you will be working closely with members of our technical team as well as our support team you will develop different skill sets in addition to your own skills. â?¢ You will need advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the willingness to learn other tools such as SQL to help with analysis. â?¢ Any experience in PowerBI or SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) is a plus. Our ideal candidate: â?¢ Analytical and logical thinker â?¢ Ability to multitask and still perform at a high level â?¢ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel - Macros, Pivot Tables, etc. â?¢ Must be flexible and able to take on a wide range of tasks as they come with a positive can-do attitude. â?¢ Attention to detail is a must â?¢ Possess the ability to work well as part of a team and independently. â?¢ Strong written and verbal communication skills â?¢ Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals â?¢ Ability to take on additional responsibilities as needed as well as determine and manage priorities with minimal guidance. â?¢ Ability to develop and maintain documentation including policies, procedures, incident reports and knowledge base articles.
