Job Requirements

• Must have or be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
• Strong understanding of database design and development.
• Strong skills in SQL database programming (MS SQL Server preferred).
• Proficient in C# (preferred) or VB.NET.Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Experience working in a SDLC environment.Understanding of Unit Test, System test and User Acceptance Testing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work on a team or independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience working with Microsoft SharePoint including the following:
• Installing, configuring, maintaining, upgrading and managing a SharePoint Server Farm.
  
• Configuring all service applications like Search, Metadata, UserProfile Synchronization etc.
• Maintaining Content DB to include maintenance and compression of various logging databases in SQL Server.
• Configuring timer jobs depending on business requirements.

• Training and supporting the business users in their day to day involvement in SharePoint sites.
• For instance uploading a document, starting an approval workflow etc.
• Solid understanding of IIS, Active Directory and Mail Configuration.
• Configuration of Business Connectivity Services for connecting to a SQL database or a WCF service.
• Strong understanding of what can be done using OOB features in SharePoint.
• Designing, developing, configuring and deploying SharePoint Server 2010 applications.
• Making informed recommendations pertaining to MS SharePoint information and site architecture, infrastructure, software implementation and web parts design, testing and deployment.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot SharePoint and integration issues.
• Recommend and document best practices for software configuration, site permission policy, and site template management.
• Ability to present ideas and solutions in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
• Ability to evaluate and integrate 3rd party plug-ins with Share Point Experience with JavaScript and jQuery.
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server.

• Bachelor's degree in related field or 5+ years professional experience.
• Candidate should have 3-5 years web experience.
• Other education, commensurate experience and demonstrated ability of individual may be substituted.
