Role: Senior .Net/Sharepoint Developer
Location: Houston, TX
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Develops SharePoint applications, including user interface, workflow, webparts, and back-end processing solutions
- Provides application development activities, including design, development, and testing activities
- Provide production technical support for investigation and resolution of Remedy help desk tickets related to the support of SharePoint and its related applicationsManage user accounts and understand security profile & groups
- Create Change Control and Change Management forms as defined by the Change Control Board to perform code migrationsInteract with business users to understand business s processes/requirements and provide guidance on the use of SharePoint functionality for business process automation or data interaction
- BA/BS degree with an analytical discipline with 10+ years of directly related experience
- Experience with SharePoint 2010 and SharePoint 2013Experience with XML, ASP,.Net , XSLT ,VB.Net, C#, PowerShell, CSS and Java Script
- Experience with SharePoint Object Model and SharePoint Designer experience
- Experience with Visual Studio, Active Directory and working knowledge of SQL Server 2005/2008.
- Knowledge of system development lifecycles including Agile methodology; development cycles are short (often 4 - 12 weeks or less).
- Other Desired SkillsWorks well in a team environment including internal resources and external systems integrators
- Excellent communications and personal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required
- Responsible team player with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Self motivated individual who can learn quickly in a fast paced environmentAbility to multi-task effectively
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline or the equivalent combination of formal education and experience; Masters degree in Computer Science is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years related technology experience
